This is primarily a laminar flow cabinet designed to protect the integrity of
samples by preventing cross-contamination during sample preparation through a
Class II-type vertical laminar downflow of HEPA-filtered air during the first
phase - eliminating in the second phase unwanted DNA sequences by 254nm wavelength
UV-light exposure - destroying all contaminant DNA molecules in minutes.
This double function of the cabinet makes it the ideal contamination free,
portable, sterile PCR workstation - which will also protect the operators from the
harmful effects of UV/light exposure, Beta-radiation and contamination from samples.
