* The AccuPyc 1330™ Pycnometer
Equipment Description:
The AccuPyc 1330 Pycnometer is a fast, fully automatic density analyzer that performs high-speed, high-precision volume and density measurements on a wide variety of materials including powders, objects, and slurries.
The AccuPyc completes most analyses in 2 to 3 minutes without sacrificing accuracy by using a helium displacement technique for measurement.
Users who require density measurements at a specific temperature can purchasean AccuPyc equipped with a Temperature Control Option.
The AccuPyc 1330TC is designed for connection to a commercial circulating bath and allows for precise temperature control in the 15 to 50 ¡ÆC range.
This unit is equipped with required internal connections, external quick disconnect fittings, and the tubing necessary to connect the unit to an external circulating bath. The temperature inside the sample chamber is stabilized to a fraction of a degree even if the ambient temperature of the laboratory changes.
The AccuPyc 1330TC is available in 10-cc and 100-cc models.
The AccuPyc 1330 GB (Glove Box)
Equipment Description:
This pycnometer, which performs high-speed, high-precision volume and density measurements, is supplied in two sections: the analysis chamber and the electronic control system. The two sections are connected electrically by cables, allowing the analysis chamber to be located in a different environment from the control electronics.
This is useful for those needing to control the instrument from a safe environment while the analysis chamber is located in a radioactive area or in an environment that may be hazardous to the operator. Analysis can be performed on a wide variety of materials including powders, objects, and slurries.
Features
Ability to resolve 0.0001 g/cc
